About

I didn’t grow up knowing exactly what I wanted out of life, but through the years have seen how every season has been purposed and used to, in fact, help others. The older I get, the more I realize the beauty of connection and the power of intentionality in all I put my hands to.

I'm Megan

Photographer & owner

hey there!

My journey as an entrepreneur started when I was in my childhood country home of Douglasville, Georgia! I remember drawing the floorplan of my future veterinarian business - I had a big love for animals. I think that all changed for me when my pet bunny, Sophie, jumped from my arms onto the basement stairs and broke her little leg needing a cast. Then weeks later little Soph snuck out of the house while we were gone only for us to come back to find balls of fur along the driveway…not a great start to life as an aspiring veterinarian! Then my building drawings morphed into a preschool that my mom and I would one day run together - she didn't have a say in the matter. And I am sure many more drawings were created, but even back then, I believe a desire to run something of my own was stirring in me.

Fast Forward to finding my church home as a young adult just starting college and feeling the call of God to one day start a business, but not knowing what that was and boy did I run from that call for a solid decade! I knew I loved photography, I even entered the fine art program at ODU for a stint of time to pursue it, but the learning curve seemed too daunting especially once I was working full time. Then I became a mom and oh man did the desire to preserve those precious moments with my little humans changing before my eyes become strong. So we got our first DSLR and began snapping away. The joy photography brought me was magnified and I began to value the gift that photographs truly are to us sentimentals. I soon realized after having three girls of my own that life gets full quick and all these photos I was taking had yet to leave my hard drive, outside of the few making their way onto social media. Not only that, but I remember my own maternity and newborn sessions with each child feeling stressed about what we were wearing and how my hair and makeup looked. Lord knows, I was a hot mess (we won’t even go back to what I wore for my engagement shots btw - I pray those never surface). And forget thinking through quality photo printing, framing or albums, who had time for that?

By giving them magazine worthy wall galleries filled with the most creative photos of their people. THIS is where I birthed my business of fine art photography for my brides and mothers! My goal is to ease your mind and lighten your load by providing you an elevated photography experience that is stress-free. From professional hair and makeup, picking from a beautiful wardrobe hand-selected by me, to having a wall gallery and an heirloom album designed by me, you won't have to even lift a finger! Join the many other women enjoying artwork in their homes today and watch how much joy it brings to you!

After these experiences, I realized I could help other women who feel this same way by removing things off their plate.

I know all too well with three girls of my own that life gets full and getting those photos off the hard drive can fall by the wayside. My goal is to ease your mind and lighten your load by providing you an elevated photography experience that is stress-free . One where you don't have to worry if everyone looks and acts perfect, but rather you get to connect and have fun with one another.

A walk down memory lane

story timeline

My ideal Sunday afternoon is playing pickleball and sand volleyball til sunset with friends.
In my spare time, I am all about decorating our home or walking to our local dessert shop which might I add is a mile away therefore I don't feel guilty eating that GIGANTIC slice of cake! ;)
My favorite piece of jewelry (outside of my wedding ring) is a delicate gold necklace with my girls initials on it that was gifted to me from a sweet friend - if you see me, I’m most likely wearing it.
My favorite summertime activity is boat riding the Chickahomony river with Grandpa.
My favorite place to be is my church with my people!
